CHAPTER 29 Holy Summoning in the Seventh Month

1 And the [²month ¹seventh], day one of the month, [³summoning ²a holy ¹will be] to you; all [²work ¹servile] you shall not do; a day of signal it will be to you. 2 And you shall offer whole burnt-offerings for a scent of pleasant aroma to the lord -- [²calf ¹one] of the oxen, [²ram ¹one], [³lambs ⁴of a year old ¹seven ²unblemished]. 3 Their sacrifice offering of fine flour being prepared in olive oil -- three tenths for the [²calf ¹one], and two tenths for the [²ram ¹one]. 4 A tenth tithe to the [²lamb ¹one] for the seven lambs. 5 And a young he-goat from the goats -- one for a sin offering, to atone for you; 6 besides the whole burnt-offerings of the new moon, and their sacrifice offerings, and their libations, and the [²whole burnt-offering ¹continual], and their sacrifice offerings, and their libations according to their interpretation for a scent of pleasant aroma to the lord. 7 And the tenth of this month [³summoning ²a holy ¹there shall be] to you. And you shall afflict your souls, and all work you shall not do. 8 And you shall bring whole burnt-offerings for a scent of pleasant aroma yield offering to the lord -- [²calf ³of ⁴the oxen ¹one], [²ram ¹one], [²lambs ³of a year old ¹seven]; they shall be unblemished to you. 9 Their sacrifice offering shall be of fine flour being prepared in olive oil; three tenths to the [²calf ¹one], and two tenths to the [²ram ¹one]. 10 A tenth tithe to the [²lamb ¹one], for the seven lambs. 11 And [²young he-goat ³from ⁴the goats ¹one] for a sin offering to atone for you; besides the one for the sin offering of the atonement, and the [²whole burnt-offering ¹continual], its sacrifice offering, and its libation according to the interpretation, a yield offering to the lord. 12 And the fifteenth day [³month ²seventh ¹of this] [³summoning ²a holy ¹will be] to you; all [²work ¹servile] you shall not do; and you shall solemnize it as a holiday to the lord for seven days. 13 And you shall bring whole burnt-offerings, a yield offering for a scent of pleasant aroma to the lord. On the [²day ¹first] -- [⁴calves ⁵of ⁶the oxen ¹three ²and ³ten], [²rams ¹two], [²lambs ³of a year old ¹fourteen]; they shall be unblemished. 14 Their sacrifice offerings shall be of fine flour being prepared in olive oil -- three tenths to the [²calf ¹one] for the thirteen calves; and two tenths to the [²ram ¹one] for the two rams; 15 and a tenth tithe to the [²lamb ¹one] for the four and ten lambs. 16 And [²young he-goat ³of ⁴the goats ¹one] for a sin offering, besides the [²whole burnt-offering ¹continual], their sacrifice offerings, and their libations. 17 And the [²day ¹second] -- [²calves ¹twelve] of oxen, [²rams ¹two], [⁵lambs ⁶of a year old ¹four ²and ³ten ⁴unblemished], 18 their sacrifice offering, and their libation for the calves, and for the rams, and for the lambs according to their number, according to their interpretation, 19 and a young he-goat of the goats -- one for a sin offering; besides the [²whole burnt-offering ¹continual], their sacrifice offerings, and their libations. 20 The [²day ¹third] -- [²calves ¹eleven], [²rams ¹two], [⁵lambs ⁶of a year old ¹four ²and ³ten ⁴unblemished], 21 their sacrifice offering, and their libation for the calves, and for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, according to their interpretation, 22 and a young he-goat of the goats -- one for a sin offering; besides the [²whole burnt-offering ¹continual], their sacrifice offerings, and their libations. 23 The [²day ¹fourth] -- [²calves ¹ten], [²rams ¹two], [⁵lambs ⁶of a year old ¹four ²and ³ten ⁴unblemished], 24 their sacrifice offerings, and their libations for the calves, and for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, according to their interpretation, 25 and a young he-goat of the goats -- one for a sin offering, besides the [²whole burnt-offering ¹continual], their sacrifice offerings, and their libations. 26 The [²day ¹fifth] -- [²calves ¹nine], [²rams ¹two], [⁵lambs ⁶of a year old ¹four ²and ³ten ⁴unblemished], 27 their sacrifice offerings, and their libations for the calves, and for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, according to their interpretation, 28 and a young he-goat of the goats -- one for a sin offering, besides the [²whole burnt-offering ¹continual], their sacrifice offerings and their libations. 29 The [²day ¹sixth] -- [²calves ¹eight], [²rams ¹two], [³lambs ⁴of a year old ¹fourteen ²unblemished], 30 their sacrifice offerings, and their libations for the calves, and for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, according to their interpretation, 31 and a young he-goat of the goats -- one for a sin offering, besides the [²whole burnt-offering ¹continual], their sacrifice offerings, and their libations. 32 The [²day ¹seventh] -- [²calves ¹seven], [²rams ¹two], [³lambs ⁴of a year old ¹fourteen ²unblemished], 33 and their sacrifice offerings, and their libations for the calves, and for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, according to their interpretation, 34 and a young he-goat of the goats -- one for a sin offering, besides the [²whole burnt-offering ¹continual], their sacrifice offerings, and their libations. 35 And the [²day ¹eighth] will be a holiday recess to you. All [²work ¹servile] you shall not do on it. 36 And you shall lead forward whole burnt-offerings for a scent of pleasant aroma, yield offerings to the lord -- [²calf ¹one], [²ram ¹one], [³lambs ⁴of a year old ¹seven ²unblemished], 37 and their sacrifice offerings, and their libations for the calf, and for the ram, and for the lambs, according to their number, according to their interpretation, 38 and a young he-goat of the goats, one for a sin offering, besides the [²whole burnt-offering ¹continual], their sacrifice offerings, and their libations. 39 These things you shall do to the lord in your holidays, besides your vows, and your voluntary offerings, and your whole burnt-offerings, and your sacrifice offerings, and your libations, and your deliverance offerings. 40 And Moses spoke to the sons of Israel concerning all as many things as the lord gave charge to Moses.
